UNIFORMS:

C.I.S.A.A. Cross Country Championships
Tuesday October 26th, 2010
Trinity College School, PORT HOPE
(Race Website: http://www.tcs.on.ca/xc)

FACILITIES:
Changing facilities are limited but will be available in the Peter Campbell Arena. We encourage teams to come dressed to run. Portable toilets will be located outside the arena on the west side of the building. No access to the school itself will be available on this day due to classes in progress. Please instruct your competitors to use the facilities at the arena.

SCORING:
Senior School scoring:
In each race the finishing places of a school's top four runners will be totalled. Ties will be broken by the position of the fourth runner. Additional teams may be entered but will NOT be awarded points, medals or ribbons.
The overall championship is determined by taking the total of the team placing points on a 1st= 10, 2nd= 8, 3rd= 6, 4th= 4,
5th= 2, 6th= 1 basis for each of the six divisions, with the highest total being the winner. If a tie then exists, the school with the greater number of teams will be declared the winner.
Junior scoring:
The placing of the top four runners from each team will be totalled to determine the winners. In case of a tie, the place of the 4th runner from each school will break the tie.
The overall Co-ed award is awarded to the school with at least 4 teams scoring. The scores from the lowest 4 teams for each school are added together to determine the champion. (Lowest overall score from the four teams wins.)
CISAA ENTRIES: You must make all Junior(U14 and below) and Senior(Mg, Jr, Sr) entries online at www.tcs.on.ca/xc . There are separate Races listed for Senior School and Junior Cross Country championships; please register for the correct event. This will not be available until Monday, October 18 by 12 noon.
Senior Schools Eligibility List: as per last year we will be using the OFSAA Eligibility Form to reduce paperwork. This can be found on the OFSAA Cross Country web page and should be saved on your computer, filled in and then bring a printed copy to registration on Oct. 26.
